Some related reports show that cortisol, people’s main stress hormone would be elevated when people connect with their devices. Moreover, immersing into the situation of having a phone all the time would stimulate people’s stress hormone, decreasing people’s decision making or problem-solving skills, or pushing people to do something fatal. To avoid being controlled by devices, it might be a good start not to bring the phone when having lunch.
